Lauren Tarshis' children's book, I Survived the Joplin Tornado, continues to top the Amazon rankings for Joplin Tornado books, followed by 5:41: Stories from the Joplin Tornado by Carthage Press Managing Editor John Hacker and me, and the fictional Simple Pleasures by Kenna White. Even though more than four and a half years have passed since May 22, 2011, the interest in books about the day that changed Joplin forever.
